Econsultancy and Guava launch 6th UK Search Engine Marketing Benchmark Survey

Econsultancy and Guava, part of the NetBooster Group, announce the launch of the 2012 UK Search Engine Marketing Benchmark Survey, an established bellwether report for the UK search marketing industry, providing insights about the latest trends in paid search, search engine optimisation and digital marketing disciplines such as social media and display.

UK digital marketers working client-side for advertisers and those within agencies are invited to contribute to the survey, which is open until 22nd March 2012, with participants receiving a free copy of the report (normally worth £250).

The survey aims to drill down under the skin of the UK search marketing landscape, posing questions about search budgets, effectiveness, return on investment and individual search engines, while also taking the temperature of social media and display activity.

Digital marketers wishing to take part in the survey can do so by visiting www.guava.co.uk/uksem2012

Econsutancy and Guava, which has sponsored the research since its inception in 2007, will host a launch event in London in the summer , where the key findings will be presented.

Martin Dinham, Sales Director, Guava, added: “While the digital marketing landscape is in a constant state of flux, the last twelve months have seen some major updates and initiatives from the search engines which have had a profound effect on how digital campaigns are developed and executed.

“The UK Search Engine Marketing Benchmark Report provides digital marketers with a trusted barometer of how and where digital marketing budgets are being invested; with last years survey receiving over 700 respondents.”
